Cincom ECM and its client SOCODEI have received the Xplor France Palmarès prize in the area of “Governance and Document Management”. The prize has been awarded to them for a project involving a single repository and dematerialisation of processes associated with documents.
SOCODEI, a 100% subsidiary of EDF, is a company that specialises in treating mildly radioactive waste. As part of its activities in a complex and highly regulated market, SOCODEI produces, distributes and manipulates a large number of sensitive documents. In order to improve their organisation, SOCODEI was looking for a solution that incorporates the three Us (usefulness, usability and in use) for all 200 employees and some 200 external stakeholders that would allow them to apply unique corporate document management.
In deploying Cincom ECM, SOCODEI noticed an increase in the time available for various daily activities such as consultation and research. Fewer photocopies were required and fewer documents were trashed. There was also a reduction in preparation time for various audits, and the risk of non-compliance decreased.
